With a thorough understanding of Linux, MySQL, and PHP, this applicant would be have at least one year of transactional PHP coding.

After reviewing this applicant's application, we will request a promising candidate to take a short online proficiency test and to submit sample PHP source code written personally by the applicant. The sample need not be a complete application, but enough sophisticated code to show the applicant's coding style and adherance to quality standards.

If we decide to take a chance on you, we'll provide a sandbox for you on our development server, but you'll also need a PHP development environment on your local PC. Your first few tasks will be part of the evaluation process whereby we assess how mutually promising the working relationship.

This opening averages 4 hours per day, but can be increased to 8 hours/day.
